Medicaid Consumers - Protect Medicaid

Medicaid Matters can be more effective if we can put real names, faces and stories beside the numbing statistics of potential Medicaid cutbacks. To avoid a last minute scramble to find consumers willing to share their stories and speak to journalists or elected officials we need to start now.

We want consumers to be engaged in and informed about our coalition's work, and we know their ideas and concerns can help us shape our agenda. We're creating a database of consumers from areas throughout the state who have agreed to help us spread our message. Please help us integrate this consumer voice with our advocacy, to build an even stronger coalition by identifying one or more consumers in your organization who is willing to participate.

Fill in that person's contact information below and the reason s/he uses Medicaid. If you have additional questions or comments, free to contact us at info@medicaidmattersmd.org or fax us at 1-775-667-465

MM!MD is always looking for people to tell why Medicaid matters to them. By telling his or her "Medicaid story", the consumer can bring life to the real importance of Medicaid for people in Maryland.

Legislative Visits to Annapolis

Our elected leaders need to talk to people who use Medicaid to truly understand why it's important to keep the program strong.

Getting More People Involved!

Does the consumer know others who may want to join this coalition and learn more about Medicaid and how to become active in advocating for a strong Medicaid program in Maryland?

Consumers who join MM!MD will receive periodic updates from MM!MD about changes in Medicaid and Medicaid funded programs, MM!MD events, and how they can become more involved in advocating on behalf of Maryland's Medicaid program.
